Who offers Shapedrop?

Shapedrop is an app by AWA Solutions (provider details: see the imprint on awasol.de). Shapedrop is sold through Link, a Stripe service. Link is the seller: the purchase contract, payment, receipt and taxes are handled by Link. AWA Solutions grants you the right to use Shapedrop under these terms.

Trial

You may try Shapedrop free for 14 days, with every feature and no sign-up. After that you need a license key to keep converting.

What the license allows

• Use Shapedrop on up to 2 of your own computers at the same time, privately and for work.
• Deactivate Shapedrop on one computer to free the slot for another.
• All version 1 updates are included.
• The license does not expire.

What is not allowed

• Sharing, selling or publishing your license key.
• Modifying Shapedrop to get around the license check.
• Reselling or renting Shapedrop as a whole.

Components by other developers inside Shapedrop are under their own licenses (list in the app under Settings → Components & licenses). Rights these licenses give you – such as replacing FFmpeg with your own build – are not affected.

Your files

Shapedrop converts everything on your computer and never changes the original; the new file is saved next to it. Still check important results before relying on them, and back up important data regularly.

License check

With a license, Shapedrop checks with the license service at most once a week whether the key is valid. Without internet it keeps working for 30 days. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the key is disabled.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under product liability law. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
